Dr. Lizet Zuniga
Helping children with disabilities has been an incredibly gratifying but also challenging and demanding career for me. However, as a school social
worker, I soon realized that I was experiencing burnout due to the demands
of my job while working with students who had emotional and behavioral challenges. Consequently, I found myself operating in survival mode rather
than using healthy coping mechanisms.

I understand the challenges educators face in balancing their
professional and personal lives, which can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms.
Mission
As an expert in self-care, I understand the unique challenges that educators may face, especially during a crisis. That's why I've developed a comprehensive set of unique self-care guidelines to help you maintain your well-being while navigating through any problematic situation. These guidelines are practical, easy to follow, and designed to ensure success during these trying times. Make today the first day of a new you to overcome any challenge that comes your way.
